    Nothing robs your body of the vitality and metabolic processing it needs to burn fat than lack of sleep. Simply stated, your body stores and retains fat FAR more efficiently when it is deprived of rest, which ultimately leads to more padding around your middle. (and other spots) Don't forget the obvious either: A lack of sleep leads to lazy eating habits, which invariably will translate to extra calories as well. People who are perpetually tired have FAR less discipline and mental acuity than those who are well rested...and we ALL know that discipline is a cornerstone to weight loss. Key takeaway? Get some sleep!
