Let's take a quick look at a few things you can do THIS summer to get in beach body shape...and feel great on the way there. Any good diet plan is full of simple, effective and EASY to incorporate elements that won't FEEL like heavy lifting on the way up. (pardon the pun..;-) So below I've highlighted 3 simple steps to get moving in the right direction, and FAST!Slow Down to Speed Up!
The easiest and most elegant way to transition to that new body you've been hoping for is to DUMP all of the instant, fad diet fixes...and start thinking slow and long term. Making simple incremental changes to your diet, and your LIFE are the things that will sustain you over the years.
Water is Wonderful
It seems like everyone REALLY struggles with how water REALLY fits in to the grand scheme of things as a dieter's best friend. Some say - drink up...others, not so much. I'm here to tell you that the MORE water you drink, the better you will think, look and FEEL...and fast! Water is an amazing treat for your body, and the more you gulp down, the more your body will appreciate it.
Feast on a Rainbow
The color chart SHOULD be your friend. Yellows, Reds, Gold's and more....the more color you have in your diet, the more important disease fighting friends you will have in your corner. If you are incorporating lots of veggies, and VARIETY into your diet, the long term benefits are immense! Don't forget, you can dress up lots of otherwise ordinary, and dare I say delectable daily foods with a special splash of color...and your body will be smiling on the inside, I promise!
And...Pick a Path!
In Eastern philosophy and spiritual practice there is a well known prayer called the Refuge Vow. It simply means, while I understand there are many roads which will take me to the place I want to go, I pick THIS particular path to get there. And I dedicate myself completely to accomplishing these goals.
And this IS the key to amazing weight loss - finding the right vehicle for YOU to serve your needs and take you to the Promised Land! And if you are anything like me, the Promised Land this summer season is full of sand, beautiful bodies and a view to die for...and I can't wait to get there!
